pips（ピップス）とは、FX取引における価格変動の最小単位を表します。多くの通貨ペアでは1pipsは「0.0001」、米ドル/円（USD/JPY）など円を含む通貨ペアでは「0.01」を指します。例えば、EUR/USDが1.1000から1.1001へ動いた場合は1pipsの値動きです。FXでは、利益や損失、スプレッドなどを計算する際にpipsが広く使用されており、取引の基本となる重要な指標の一つです。
